Gov. Braun renews Indiana's fuel tax suspension through Dec. 4

If you buy gas in Indiana, the break continues. Gov. Mike Braun signed executive orders Wednesday renewing the state's fuel tax suspension for another 30 days. The state excise and usage tax on gasoline is worth a combined 64 cents per gallon in November.

WTHI reports the Braun administration first suspended the taxes in April, citing the Iran war, and has suspended them several times. The suspensions were due to expire Wednesday, and WTHI says retailers adding the taxes back would raise prices about 60 cents per gallon.

Something To Think About

“Hey everyone I'm recovering from the flu, so I'm being lazy and watching interesting YouTube videos. I should be working. I have an important meeting I have to make about 100 miles away. The Wrap

Pumpkins are about to get the slam-dunk treatment. On Saturday, Nov. 7, the Indiana State men's basketball team and the Terre Haute Fire Department are teaming up with the Terre Haute Children's Museum for Pumpkin Dunkin, where they'll "dunk" pumpkins. Sycamores and firefighters sharing a hoop sounds like a good time. Nothing but gourd.
