- ➤ Firefighters Fighting Hunger launches a food drive on Saturday collecting donations at 30 Kroger stores and a few fire stations across Indiana from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.—the drive aims to help struggling Hoosiers put food on the table. Tribune-Star
- ➤ On Thursday, several Terre Haute firefighters climbed 110 flights of stairs at the Terre Haute Casino Resort to honor those who died during Sept. 11, 2001.
