The Vigo County Sheriff's Office identified Mark Oberle (67, Terre Haute) as the driver killed when his white pickup truck was hit by a silver pickup truck at the intersection of U.S. Highway 41 and Allendale Lane in southern Vigo County on Tuesday afternoon, and the other driver was taken to a local hospital.
The Indiana Department of Education released spring 2025 ILEARN results showing 40.6% of students met English Language Arts standards and about 42% met math standards from over 1,350 schools in the Wabash Valley.
