A tornado struck Linton Friday night—killing one motorist as emergency crews began assessing the damage.

The Vigo County School Board voted on Monday to buy extra cyber liability coverage after recent cybersecurity breaches in education — a move designed to boost data protection for local schools.

Terre Haute North Vigo High School was recognized as an endorsed Early College High School by the Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning at the University of Indianapolis—students can earn a high school diploma along with college credit or a technical credential.
