Thyssenkrupp announced its plant in Vigo County Industrial Park will close by March 31, 2027 and 230 jobs will be lost as it phases operations to shift North American production to its Hamilton site.
🎓 Education
On Friday, Rio Grande Elementary held a program in its gym to open a metal time capsule containing items from 1976 and 2001 that was unearthed from in front of the school (current and former students and staff attended).
