- ➤ A fire at Wendy's on South U.S. 41 in Terre Haute is expected to force an extended closure, the Fire Department said+ residents should plan alternative dining options until repairs are complete. Tribune-Star
- ➤ Terre Haute firefighters responded Tuesday at a Wendy's on South U.S. Highway 41 after heavy smoke and flames were seen near Haute City Center; the restaurant will remain closed for the day with no injuries reported. WTHI-TV

- ➤ On Monday evening, the Terre Haute Convention Center hosted the official book launch of Heartland, a book celebrating Larry Bird’s influential years at Indiana State University; bestselling author Keith O’Brien and members of the Sycamores team highlighted a memorable 1978-79 game decision during the event.
