A fire at Wendy's on South U.S. 41 in Terre Haute is expected to force an extended closure, the Fire Department said+ residents should plan alternative dining options until repairs are complete.

Terre Haute firefighters responded Tuesday at a Wendy's on South U.S. Highway 41 after heavy smoke and flames were seen near Haute City Center; the restaurant will remain closed for the day with no injuries reported.
