  • Nothing Bundt Cakes is hosting its soft opening (11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday) at South Point Crossing in Terre Haute, offering residents a chance to try its specialty desserts.  Tribune-Star

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • State lawmakers plan to introduce rules addressing rising electricity costs and increased power use from data centers, following a 17.5% jump in bills over the past year (per Citizens Action Coalition). The proposals aim to ease utility strains in Indiana.  Tribune-Star
  • Terre Haute will open a free warming center at Lotus Center at 4 p.m. Sunday at 2720 Elm Street, where food and drinks will be available until 2 p.m. Tuesday (service provided in response to a sharp temperature drop after Sunday’s rain).  WTHI-TV
