Home Instead is hosting a holiday donation drive in Terre Haute to support older adults, where community members can choose items from gift lists in the Be a Santa to a Senior program.

Donors should drop off gifts at 631 East Springfield Drive before Friday, Dec. 12.

Indiana State University School of Music will host a Holiday Extravaganza at 4 p.m. Sunday in University Hall Theater at the Bayh College of Education, featuring choral & saxophone ensembles, the Terre Haute Children’s Choir, and a visit from Santa Claus offering treats to the audience.

Today, the Terre Haute North band program rides in style with a refurbished semi-trailer donated in May by the Curry family — it now features LED lights, a manually lowered ramp and stable wood floors for band competitions.
