- ➤ Steve Strole of Terre Haute won $532,402 on the Mississippi stud table game at Terre Haute Casino Resort on Thursday night, casino officials confirmed on Friday. Tribune-Star
- ➤ A large commercial project was approved for the east side during a November 5 meeting at the Vigo County Area Plan Commission. Gibson Development will build the project on 25 acres along Indiana 46 — located east of Sycamore Terrace and north of the shopping center — and a Target store was mentioned although details remain limited. - ➤ Fifteen minutes before JCPenney's 5 a.m. opening, over 200 shoppers lined up as one person shouted 'Let the games begin!'—a cry that sparked the excitement for Black Friday shopping. Tribune-Star
