- ➤ The Wabash Valley Community Foundation will create a fund to restore the Indiana Theatre after the Vigo County Capital Improvement Board approved the move yesterday at the Vigo County Annex, following a proposal by Karen Dyer of the Terre Haute Convention and Visitors Bureau. Crosley Radio Players will perform a show called "Echoes of Christmas Past" at 7 p.m. on Dec. 9 at the Convention Center to help raise money for the renovation. Tribune-Star
- ➤ Terre Haute native Harrison Whitaker won his seventh straight victory on Jeopardy! on Wednesday evening. He outscored challengers Josh Chen and Matylda Urbaniak with $25,601 for the night, bringing his run total to $208,201. Tribune-Star

- ➤ Indiana Governor Mike Braun spoke during Global Entrepreneurship Week to celebrate small businesses and praised state programs that helped launch new companies and create jobs.
