- ➤ Terre Haute’s First Hungarian Working Men’s Benefit and Death Society will hold its Christmas rummage sale Saturday, Nov 22 at Hungarian Hall, 2049 North 22nd Street (one block south of Maple) from 8 a.m. to noon. Tribune-Star
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Indiana State University announced that the John C. Hook Memorial Observatory Dome will reopen to campus and community after more than twenty years of closure. Strong thunderstorms are expected to bring wind gusts up to 50 mph and half-inch hail to Terre Haute and nearby areas until about 4:15 p.m.—residents are advised to secure outdoor objects. - ➤ The Indiana Department of Transportation announced that crews have begun closing lanes overnight on I-70 eastbound and westbound in Vigo County — lane closures are in effect between Exit 7 on U.S. 41 and Sidenbender Road, known as 25th Street, to reset traffic and add pavement markings.
