- ➤ Yesterday, the Indiana Air National Guard broke ground on a new indoor small arms training range at Hulman Field near two partially raised walls. Wing commander Col. Ryan Harvey said it was a great day to be a Racer during a ceremony that also featured remarks from U.S. Representative Mark Messmer. Tribune-Star
- ➤ The Vigo County School Board will meet at 5 p.m. today in the administration building board room at 501 W. Olive St. — West Terre Haute to ratify a two-year contract with the Vigo County Teachers Association. Tribune-Star
- ➤ On Wednesday night, the Vigo County Council voted 4-3 to allocate $100K for a new oversight committee for VCSC school funding—appointment bodies from five local groups will now choose five members. Terre Haute Mayor Brandon Sakbun said he will make a slow and deliberate selection to meet community needs. WTHI-TV
- ➤ State officials announced on November 13th that MDwise is being removed from Indiana’s Medicaid program, leaving 300,000 people less than two months to choose a new health plan. MDwise will not offer coverage under Healthy Indiana Plan and Hoosier Healthwise—effective January 1. Tribune-Star
- ➤ Yesterday, the Terre Haute Parks and Recreation Department announced five bids from companies seeking to refurbish the Deming Park Pool.
