- ➤ On Dec. 13, the Sisters of Providence host Christmas Fun at the Woods from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Saint Mary of the Woods, 10 minutes northwest of downtown Terre Haute, for a family friendly gathering open to everyone. Tribune-Star
- ➤ The Wabash Valley Community Foundation launched a new corporate partnership program for businesses in Clay, Sullivan — and Vigo counties to support lasting community improvements. The initiative grew from local philanthropy efforts that set up unrestricted endowment funds to continually enhance neighborhoods. Tribune-Star
- ➤ Happiness Bag celebrated the grand opening of a $3.5 million expansion at 3833 Union Road in Vigo County as the new 12,000 square-foot facility more than doubled its space. Planning began a decade ago and construction started in October 2024—ensuring the center will touch more lives. Tribune-Star
