- ➤ Terre Haute is launching the Urban Homescape Initiative in partnership with Thrive West Central to repurpose underused land into new homes — a key part of its Homes for the Future plan. The project will build 50 single-family homes, three duplexes, five townhomes and one green space on land transferred from Indiana State University, with sites expected to be finished by fall.
