  • On Wednesday, community members gathered in front of the Clay County Courthouse in Brazil to support detained immigrants—speakers like Carmen Ramos and Sister Barbara Battista shared messages of hope while addressing ICE detention practices behind the courthouse.  Tribune-Star
  • White Violet Center for Eco-Justice will host Alpaca Yoga from 11 a.m. to noon Nov 2—Shannon Hamilton, athletic director at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and certified yoga instructor, will lead the session with alpacas.  Tribune-Star

CULTURE NEWS

  • The Sisters of Providence held a special Mass at the Church of the Immaculate Conception to mark their 185th Foundation Day.
