  • Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College is partnering with Miracle on 7th Street for the ninth annual SMWC Light Your Way Christmas Parade, which will be held Dec 6 in downtown Terre Haute—registration for groups, organizations, and businesses remains open until Nov 28.  Tribune-Star
  • Ryves Youth Center hosts its annual trunk or treat event today at 4:30 p.m. at 1356 Locust Street — a Halloween celebration organized by Catholic Charities Terre Haute — inviting families to enjoy a safe and festive gathering.  Tribune-Star
  • Thrive West Central and First Baptist Church Brazil have launched Thrive Together, a new program funded by a Lilly Endowment grant to fight loneliness.   • WorkOne Western Indiana and Wabash Valley Goodwill are hosting a job fair Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Excel Center on 2800 Poplar St — over 25 regional companies from healthcare, education, manufacturing, and trades will hire for immediate positions.  Tribune-Star

  • The Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce is calling for an oversight board to guide the school consolidation plan as diverse opinions on local school changes have raised concerns.   • The Indiana Principal Leadership Institute, hosted by Indiana State University since 2013 to enhance school leadership across the state, is set to change hands—officials said new management details will be shared soon.  Tribune-Star
