- ➤ Today the WTHI-TV Fall Senior Fair returned to Haute City Center with 29 vendors offering education and treats, and a Providence Health Care representative said they enjoyed speaking with attendees. WTHI-TV

- ➤ The Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra is hosting two events this weekend to celebrate its 100th anniversary — a history presentation and a chamber wind concert. The history presentation led by THSO Board President David Chapman will be held at the Vigo County History Center on Saturday at 2 p.m. Tribune-Star
- ➤ Music at the Crossroads is an annual festival that will hold a concert downtown at 7th Street and Wabash Avenue on Friday—admission is free and three artists will perform. Tribune-Star

- ➤ Indiana's IREAD test scores increased nearly 5% overall and about 4% in the Wabash Valley, reversing declines seen after COVID. State leaders say extra funding—boosting reading programs—helped raise the scores. WTHI-TV
- ➤ Vigo County Council questioned VCSC Superintendent Chris Himsel about the school facilities plan on Tuesday—city, county, and school district officials attended the meeting, and the council has not decided on funding it yet. Tribune-Star
