Over the weekend, law enforcement officials said the Scheid Diesel Extravaganza at the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds ran smoothly with very few problems (an outcome that pleased civic leaders).
Terre Haute’s final Mile with the Mayor event takes place at Voorhees Park on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Residents are invited to join the walk (don their walking shoes) to mark the year’s end.

Judge Daniel Kelly recused himself from the school funding case due to a conflict of interest & Judge Lakshmi Reddy now oversees the matter in court; lawyer Eddie Felling filed a complaint on Monday to compel the Vigo County Council to add the issue to Tuesday evening’s agenda.

Union Health welcomed neurosurgeon Merle Rust, MD, from Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine on Monday to expand access to specialized brain and spine care across the Wabash Valley + his addition strengthens service options for local patients.
