Months of planning and renovation led the Lebanon Community School Corporation to open the new Lebanon Tiger Cubs Pre-K program in the former Central Elementary School (a renovated space), welcoming its youngest learners.
Superintendent Jon Milliman described the opening as a game-changing day for the community.
🌲 Environment
The city has issued a flood warning for the Wabash River today with water expected to crest at 24.7 feet near Terre Haute by Thursday morning and drop below flood stage by Tuesday, and residents are urged to avoid flooded roads + follow safety precautions.
Flood warnings remain in effect until Wednesday, Aug.
26 along the Wabash River at Terre Haute as recent rains have raised water levels to 24.5 feet with a forecast crest of 24.7 feet Thursday morning before dropping below flood stage Tuesday, Aug. 25. Residents should avoid flooded roads (safety first).
