The Vigo County Homes for Children program announced Monday it received a $150,000 grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to fund a planning process aimed at improving residential care services for children and youth statewide.
🎓 Education
Vigo County School Corp. will enforce a state law banning cellphones and personal wireless devices during class as school starts in two weeks.
The school board is expected to approve updated student and parent handbooks soon.
The Vigo County School Corp announced free breakfast for all pre-K through grade 12 students next school year after the board approved the plan Monday night.
Administrators say the program will help every student start the day with a nutritious meal.
