Team of Mercy has named Heather Michael as its new executive director, with her appointment starting Monday, July 27 after selection by the board and former Executive Director Christina Crist.
The Boone County 4-H Fair returns Sunday through Aug.1 — it celebrates agriculture and youth achievement under the 'Barn in the USA' theme by offering free admission, parking, livestock shows, project exhibitions and educational opportunities for visitors.

Chances And Services for Youth announced the lineup for the 20th annual Dancing with the Terre Haute Stars, featuring participants such as Kai Burnett, Shonna Frye, Tanner Hamblen, Scott McDaniel, Erica Piazza, and others.
The event is scheduled for Oct. 2 at the Hulman Center in downtown Terre Haute.

Ace Snider, a 17-year-old from Terre Haute South, won an Indiana Junior Olympic state pole vault title and will compete in the national championships in Norwalk from Tuesday through Aug.
