- ➤ Greg Gibson, President and CEO of Gibson Development, was named to the Indiana 250 list today as an influential leader in business and government—he oversees more than 50 companies in waste management, environmental services and development while focusing on sustainable growth. WTHI-TV
- ➤ At least five Terre Haute leaders were named to the Indiana 250 list by IBJ Media. The list includes Greg Gibson, Rachel Leslie, James Bopp Jr., Robert Coons and Paul Thrift—each holding key roles in business and civic life. Tribune-Star

ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Duke Energy's District Manager Rick Burger shared tips to help lower electric bills and keep homes cool during the summer heat in Terre Haute, urging residents to close curtains and set ceiling fans to spin counterclockwise (actions that may reduce energy use). He also advised raising the thermostat by one or two degrees and clearing leaves from outside units (steps that may save 3 to 5 percent on energy bills). WTWO
