  • At the Vigo County Fair at the Wabash Valley fairground, Sunday featured an antique tractor parade and public speaking competition where Morgan Merritt honored her late grandpa by showcasing his tractors. Today the fair will host poultry and rabbit shows, dog awards, exhibits, a vendor area, a carnival, and a movie night + more events for all ages.  WTWO

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Indiana State Police said in an update that all swimmers were accounted for at Sullivan County Park and Lake after authorities investigated a suspected drowning incident—no one drowned.  WTWO
  • On Sunday night, local authorities responded to a drowning at Sullivan County Park — Indiana State Police and Conservation Officers arrived as divers headed to the scene — and the investigation is ongoing.  WTWO

BUSINESS NEWS

  • New restaurants and shops including Chipotle, Azzip Pizza, 7 Brew, and Jimmy John's are under construction on the city's east side as the city extends utilities along Margaret Avenue from Fruitridge to State Road 46—Terre Haute Airport is set to receive a federal grant to further boost local development.  WTHI-TV
