The owners of WaterTower Estates Winery posted on Facebook that it will close on June 28 on Springhill Dr. near U.S. 41; the 1,500 (sqft) barn will remain available for private events.

David Utterback retired last month from teaching at Vigo County School Corp., marking a family legacy of over 100 years in local education (his grandfather Roy Laybold began at a one-room Prairie Creek school in the mid-1920s).

The Vigo County School Corp. is offering a free summer food program for people 18 and under, serving healthy breakfasts and lunches at designated sites this summer—Paula Vaughn said kids can visit on scheduled days.
