A death investigation was underway at the Federal Correctional Institution in Terre Haute after Javen Pedro, 22, was found unresponsive at about 8:30 a.m. Saturday — officials are looking into the cause.

Police said three people were injured in a shooting at a large Terre Haute party on Sunday in the 3100 block of School Avenue—one person was found at the scene while two were later sent to hospitals, with two of the injured taken to an Indianapolis hospital.
