- ➤ The Quick Quack Trail Run will take place June 20 at Griffin Bike Park. The race, open to runners and walkers of all skill levels, benefits Catholic Charities Terre Haute and supports local programs for essential services. Tribune-Star
- ➤ Terre Haute Airport and the Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting Wednesday afternoon for six new box hangars. Airport executive director Craig Maschino said the hangars, showcased against a flying Air Force F-100 Super Sabre, will help the airport accommodate larger aircraft and secure federal funding. - ➤ Max's Brewhouse will soon open in downtown Terre Haute, replacing Federal Coffee after its six-year run and adding baked goods for local coffee fans. WTHI-TV
- ➤ The Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce has announced its 113th Annual Meeting on Aug. 20 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Convention Center. The meeting will bring business and community leaders together from west-central Indiana to celebrate achievements + plan for the region's future. Tribune-Star

- ➤ The Terre Haute Community Band will kick off its 2026 Summer Concert Series at 8 p.m. Saturday in Fairbanks Park. Tribune-Star
- ➤ The Banks of the Wabash Festival continues today through Saturday at Fairbanks Park, marking its 53rd year with food+ rides, vendors and live entertainment. The event kicks off at 6 p.m. with music by Double Shot. Tribune-Star
- ➤ The Vigo County Capital Improvement Board began planning Indiana Theatre renovations yesterday, expecting a Lilly Foundation Arts and Culture grant. Attorney Eddie Felling and members will draft a white paper (per Terre Haute Convention and Visitors Bureau recommendation) to create a nonprofit and form a committee for a three-to-five-year plan.
