- ➤ Terre Haute police are investigating the death of 93-year-old Betty Ellinger, who was injured at Signature HealthCARE on April 21 and died on April 29 at a hospice center—her preliminary cause and manner of death remain pending—while authorities gather additional details. Tribune-Star

- ➤ Indiana State University's Charles E. Brown African American Cultural Center will soon drop 'African American' from its name—local historian Crystal Reynolds said it will be renamed the Charles E. Brown Cultural Center. Tribune-Star
