- ➤ CODA of the Wabash Valley announced its plan to shift from traditional shelter services to a mobile advocacy program that uses short-term hotel stays & alternative shelter options. The change, set for this summer, aims to help reach more victims in the region. WTHI-TV

- ➤ Jeff Harmening, CEO of General Mills, will deliver the commencement address and receive an honorary degree at Rose-Hulman on May 30. In addition, a flood warning remains for the Wabash River at Montezuma until early Friday, urging motorists to avoid flooded roads. Tribune-Star
- ➤ Rose-Hulman students presented their design projects on Wednesday at the annual 2026 Rose Show, dubbed the Collegiate World's Fair. - ➤ Lebanon Utilities announced on May 1 that the Boone County LEAP district will not discharge water at Eagle Creek Park in Terre Haute, keeping the park free from potential water impacts. Tribune-Star

- ➤ Gov. Mike Braun suspended the state gas tax and extended the gasoline sales tax suspension for 30 more days, saving Hoosier drivers 59.3 cents per gallon for the next month + easing fuel expenses locally. Tribune-Star
