ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Firefighters responded to a solar panel fire on Wednesday afternoon near 1100 North 100 West — west of Farmersburg in Sullivan County with no injuries reported, and officials remain to determine the cause.  WTHI-TV

CULTURE NEWS

  • Rose Drama Club will perform Anastasia at Hatfield Hall auditorium tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. with additional shows at 1:30 p.m. on April 25 and 26 – the production retells a brave woman's quest to discover her mysterious past, home, and love.  Tribune-Star
  • The Indiana DNR Division of Historic Preservation & Archaeology will host Teddy Bear Camp from May 11-22, where children can send their stuffed animals on a guided tour to explore Indiana history, architecture & archaeology. The camp offers photo sessions at select local historical sites.  Tribune-Star

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Indiana State University’s Scott College of Business announced the fall 2026 cohort for the Networks Program, which offers financial support plus professional development for both Networks and Gongaware Scholars.  Tribune-Star
  • Vigo County Board of School Trustees was honored by the Indiana School Boards Association for earning the Exemplary Governance Award for 2025, and individual board members received additional awards at the Spring Regional Meetings reflecting their commitment to student success.  WTHI-TV
