Trans-Care released a statement after Tuesday night's fatal ambulance collision near the intersection of 13th and Wheeler Avenue—when an ambulance on its way to an emergency hit a motorized bicycle carrying two 13-year-old girls—killing Autumn Poulter and sending Journey Loader to a hospital while Poulter's family gathered outside Trans-Care demanding justice as police continue their investigation.

The Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce launched the Leadership Academy of West Central Indiana on Thursday to spark a new era of leadership in the Wabash Valley (the program is an update of the 2014 Wabash Valley Leadership Institute founded by Rachel Leslie and Susan Turner that graduated 166 students).
