- ➤ The 8th annual Easter Vendor Bazaar will take place this Saturday at Meadows Shopping Center in Terre Haute with over 80 vendors offering items for Easter baskets and gifts. The event runs from 10am to 4pm — with coffee, food trucks and the Easter Bunny available for photos from 12pm to 5pm. WTWO
- ➤ Residents dealing with flooding in Vigo County can pick up free flood clean-up kits at the lower level of Meadows Shopping Center through Friday — teams will be on site daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and a valid ID is required. WTHI-TV
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Indiana State Police rescued three drivers who ignored posted road closures and drove into floodwaters along State Road 58 near the Knox/Daviess county line — all three were cited, reminding motorists to steer clear of dangerous conditions. WTHI-TV

- ➤ A Terre Haute man, Robert Bennett, 55, was arrested on Monday after police said he threatened state lawmaker Jim Lucas on social media and by phone—he now faces four counts of intimidation. WTHI-TV

- ➤ Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology will host a day of free STEM activities on April 26 for students (grades K-12) that features the Noblitt STEM Jubilee and SPARK! Competition to spark hands-on learning in science and technology. Tribune-Star
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ After decades of waiting, crews will begin dredging Sullivan County Lake to remove built-up sediment that has made the water shallower and warmer—project manager Chris Egge says the work will help protect water quality. Sediment basins will be built immediately and a dredge is expected in the water by August—this project is funded by community partners, park dollars and a DNR grant. WTHI-TV

- ➤ Drivers near 13th Street and Wabash Avenue face heavy construction and traffic delays as crews extend turn lanes and soon demolish an old police station — motorists are advised to slow down due to cones and lane reductions in place. WTHI-TV
- ➤ INDOT will hold a public meeting Tuesday, April 22 at the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds Banquet Room — doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. — local residents can learn about and share input on improving the intersection of U.S. 41 and Dixie Bee Road. WTHI-TV
