CULTURE NEWS

  • Terre Haute and Vincennes received $5,000 each from the Creative Convergence program to boost local arts and culture after a November 4-5 workshop in Fishers — Terre Haute’s Light Up Wabash project will use the funds to drive creative growth.  WTHI-TV

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Terre Haute Children's Museum will host a Dinosaurs Love Pi event on Saturday, March 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Families can enjoy free Pi Day activities and interactive dinosaur shows at 11, 1 and 3 as part of a math and science celebration.  WTHI-TV

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Indiana Department of Transportation announced that State Road 57 near Switz City will close between County Road West 100 S and County Road West 200 S for nearly three months starting Tuesday, Mar. 10 to complete a bridge deck overlay project and other roadway improvements; drivers should follow a detour via State Road 54, State Road 67, and State Road 58.  WTHI-TV
