Students and residents are invited to join Terre Haute’s Polar Plunge at Indiana State University this Saturday—registration starts at 10:30 a.m. at the Student Recreation Center and a noon plunge will raise funds for athletes with intellectual disabilities.

Ball Park are temporarily closed while crews install new playground equipment. Spencer F. Ball Park’s upgrades are set to finish by the end of February — Collett Park’s by the end of March as the city prepares for spring.
