- ➤ The Candles Holocaust Museum is unveiling two community giving boxes—one for food, hygiene items, and school supplies, and one for free books for all ages. It will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony Saturday at 1 p.m. at 1532 South Third Street. WTHI-TV
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Ivy Tech Community College in Terre Haute is hosting a beginner beekeeping class this Saturday with check-in at 8:30 a.m. and lessons at 9 a.m.+ attendees can enjoy hands-on demonstrations and a chance to win a complete bee hive, with additional door prizes offered. WTHI-TV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Clay County YMCA said Forest Park Pool in Brazil will not open this summer because the city did not allocate funds, citing rising maintenance, repairs, pool chemicals & tax changes. WTHI-TV
- ➤ Indiana Gov. Mike Braun announced that applications are now open for the Governor's Fellowship Program. The fellowship offers paid, full-time work in state government for recent graduates and professionals with two years of experience. WTHI-TV
