- ➤ Data from the Indiana Department of Education shows that just over 86% of Vigo County School Corp. seniors graduated last year, rising from 84.7% in 2024 yet remaining below the state average of nearly 92%. Tribune-Star
- ➤ The team placed as a finalist in the Innovation Project category at Vincennes University on Dec. 20 and will compete in the state LEGO League on Jan. 10 as part of Vigo County School Corp.’s STEM program. Tribune-Star

- ➤ Eligible seniors in Indiana can file online using INTIME at intime.dor.in.gov starting in 2026 to claim the Tax Credit for the Elderly, which offers up to $100 for individuals and $140 for married couples if they earn under $10,000 and have lived in the state for six months. WTHI-TV
- ➤ The Department of Redevelopment will demolish 13 unsafe houses to improve neighborhood safety, with more removals planned later this year as inspectors mark additional hazardous structures for clean-up. The city aims to remove 125 blighted properties to boost local stability. WTHI-TV

- ➤ Indiana residents with muscular dystrophy can apply for a free accessible van from the Muscular Dystrophy Family Foundation's annual giveaway program. Applications remain open until Feb. 15. WTHI-TV
